Data we collect

• Windblock: Uses Google™ permissions to create and manage a dedicated “Windblock” calendar and to add/update holds based on forecast conditions. The add-on reads free/busy information as needed to avoid conflicts. It does not read the contents of your personal events. Weather data is fetched from the public Open-Meteo API. We do not run our own servers for Windblock and do not store your calendar data on our servers.
• YearMap: Stores settings locally in your browser (e.g., chosen colors, ranges). No personal data is transmitted to us.

How we use information

Only to provide the functionality you requested (eg, creating calendar holds, saving your settings). We do not sell or share personal data with third parties for advertising.

Google™ user data

For Windblock, Google™ user data is accessed via your consent to the necessary Calendar scopes to create and manage a dedicated calendar and events. Data is used in-account and not transferred to our servers. If we ever need to change this, we will update this policy and request new consent.

Retention

Windblock stores data in your Google™ account (the dedicated calendar and its events). YearMap stores settings in your browser. You can remove either at any time (see “Your choices”). We do not keep server copies.

Your choices

• Windblock: Remove the add-on and delete the “Windblock” calendar in Google Calendar™ to remove created events. You can also revoke app access in your Google™ Account Security settings.
• YearMap: Remove the extension via your browser’s extensions page and clear its site data/local storage.

Children

Our apps are intended for general audiences and are not directed to children under 13.

Security

We aim for simple designs that minimize data collection. Any data handled by Google™ or your browser is protected under their platforms’ security controls.

Changes

We may update this policy. We will update the “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, notify users in-product.
